How We Met

February 2, 2022 is where it all began! Bill and Jill met at Mad Rose Pub and got to know each other while watching a Flames game. They discovered their shared love of hockey, with Jill especially happy that Bill played hockey. They also found out that they are both fans of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. This mutual passion for sports brought them together, and since then, they have attended many hockey games and Roughrider games together. They also share a love of golfing and have enjoyed many rounds together since meeting in 2022. For Jill, it was important that her boyfriend’s name rhymed with hers, and Bill was the perfect match! Both Bill and Jill love to laugh and be loud, making their time together even more enjoyable.

Blending Families

Bill and Jill both have children—Bill has Allison, who is 13, and Jill has Quinn, who is 20. It has been wonderful to begin blending their families. They are grateful that their kids are creating memories together. The families have attended football and hockey games as a group, and Quinn and Allison enjoy cheering each other on in their respective sports: Ringette for Allison and Hockey for Quinn.

The Proposal

On August 16, 2025, Bill and Jill took a vacation to Regina with family and friends to attend a Saskatchewan Roughriders game. Bill wanted the proposal to be unforgettable and surprised Jill by proposing to her on the field in front of 26,000 people. Jill was overwhelmed with joy and love, and the thought of spending forever with Bill felt like a dream come true.

We are blessed that we share the same faith and get to stand before God and declare our love for each other. This spiritual connection has deepened our bond and brought us even closer as a couple, giving us a strong foundation for our future together.

We cant wait to celebrate our wedding with you!
